PS STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY has developed over many years of photographic and artistic experience and is spearheaded by Artist and Photographer, Paul Shipper.

Paul's workload is extremely varied which is just the way he likes it. Every job has its own unique challenges and being a professional illustrator as well as a photographer and designer he gets to work on many different and exciting projects in New Zealand and around the World.

From shooting commercially to illustrating Star Wars in the space of a week is a good way of describing what Paul does.

He is fascinated with the visual language of imagery. Pictures do speak a thousand words. Photography, Illustration and Design are regarded by Paul as forms of art.

The art of visual communication is all around us. When an image speaks to our hearts, we can sometimes read it too much and begin to analyze it... Art shouldn't have to be pigeon-holed or explained. It is down to the viewer to let it into their hearts and quietly speak, give feeling, and hopefully move them in a way that describing it could never do.
